Cutting his teeth on political campaigns and communications in Long Beach, Randy Terrell has over twenty years’ experience working in the world of political communications, marketing, and public affairs.
He has gained a reputation for working on some come from behind, long-odds successes, always in line with his core values. In 2011, he managed the day-to-day grassroots and coalition efforts for the “Save Vernon Jobs” campaign, which came from behind to deliver an upset to one of the most powerful men in California, the Speaker of the Assembly.
Prior to entering the world of public affairs, Randy consulted on nearly 100 candidate and ballot measure campaigns throughout Southern California, including in cities as diverse as Artesia, Culver City, Apple Valley, Long Beach, Malibu and Beverly Hills.
Randy is an expert in land use public affairs, working with Fortune 500 companies like Walmart, working to create public support for new stores throughout Southern California, as well as maintaining goodwill through corporate giving programs. In 2016, Randy led the public affairs efforts for one of the largest home developments in Southern California at the time—Tapestry Master-Planned Community in Hesperia, CA—which led to the approval of the over 16,000 unit development.
As a more than twenty-five year volunteer for the YMCA, Randy is an active member of Antelope Valley YMCA Board of Directors. He was most recently a member of the Board of Directors of the Building Industry Association Baldy View Chapter, and sat on the Government Affairs Committee of the BIA LA/Ventura Chapter.
Randy is a graduate of the George Washington University with a B.A. in Political Science, and has an MBA in marketing from Loyola Marymount University. He resides in the Antelope Valley with his wife Patricia and his son Nathaniel.
